MOOORE?

You never know who you might meet at a Gluten-Free Trio gig, but there are several regulars including the cast of Tunbridge Wells: The Musical! and Country & Western megastars Dolly Farton and Li'l Donny Trump. For ease of reference we've given the regular regulars their own pages - just hover over "More" in the menu above and you'll be taken straight to them - but you can find brief bios of the irregular regulars here. If there aren't many images it's because you've found the page far too early in the website's development. Look back regularly for updates...

BURGUNDY BILL:

The GF3 can frequently be found doing their thing at Scallywag Cabaret and Wine Bar, and it is here that they first met "Burgundy Bill" Blackstock, a distant cousin of regular open mic host "Champagne Charlie". While technically more heckler than performer, Bill is a master of improvisation, his bons mots and occasional bursts of song marred only by his slurred delivery and frequent falling over. Bill is a fully qualified alternative life coach...

MARJORIE EEELES:

Marjorie is a clairvoyant from Tunbridge Wells who regularly channels her spirit guide, Joyce Grenfell, to perform monologues and songs at open mics and variety shows. Marjorie spent two weeks working for "Auntie" as a radio announcer after a producer confused her with the popular children's presenter, Marjorie Eeles (three "e"s). She discovered her gift for clairvoyance after being struck by lightning in 1976...

JOHN MELLORS & LADY MILLICENT MOLLIMANDY:

"Milly" Mollimandy is a lady in every sense of the word, the last surviving member of the Milton Mollimandies and chair of the elite and elitist Buckingham Choral Society. In 2017 Lady Mollimandy married "Johnny" Mellors, her trusted gardener and handyman, though she kept her own name and Johnny declined the title to which he was entitled, citing indifference to 'such fuss and nonsense'. They are currently living happily ever after...

PAM FLITT AND IVOR FOLIO:

Pam and Ivor are Poets: proper page Poets. Capital P. They write proper page poetry for proper page Poets just like themselves. They occasionally attend GF3 gigs in hopes of educating the great unwashed with their readings. They eschew rhyme in favour of free verse unless the form demands. They love the challenge of villanelle. Their publisher, Iona Smallpress, is currently seeking submissions for a new collection celebrating the death of Sylvia Plath.

Well, if you've read this far you may be interested in some more more, so here's a button that'll take you to another set of characters who might show up...
