Well I Never!

What an amazing first night! Capacity Crowd, and an exceedingly lovely one at that! Who could ask for more?

After a day off yesterday to get over it I'm back in the blogging saddle today to say a very quick but very heartfelt thank you to all who came to our launch party, and to Pete and Paul once again for their musical contribution as our special guests. Despite some timing troubles that saw a biggish contingent of our audience arriving before the performers did (we must be more specific about 8:00 being the start time for our audience rather than the soundcheck!) we were able to get the majority of the Capacity Crowd served alcohol and seated on time, and started only a very respectable five minutes late. Organised chaos would be a good way to describe much of what followed, with occasional bursts of disorganised chaos that had our hearts thumping behind the scenes but without impacting too much on stuff happening out front. We've had wonderful feedback, with many of the Capacity Crowd indicating that they've got more friends and family they want to bring along next time. Don't worry, we'll squeeze 'em in somehow...

In addition to the lovely feedback and an order for one of our our "official sponsor's" t-shirts we've also had heaps of requests for pics and video clips. We'll be sorting through what we've got over the weekend for another blog soon, but will warn we have been very unlucky in this regard to date. If you were there and managed to avoid the Scallywag Image Gremlin that seems determined to trip us at every turn we'd love you to share your pics with us.
