WHY LAUGHTER REALLY IS THE BEST MEDICINE

Another placeholder from Wix, and if you ask me a bloody irresponsible one! Give me a choice between laughter or antibiotics when I've got one of my chest infections and I know which one I'll be going for...
It's the "really is" that worries me most, if I'm honest. I'm the first to admit that a good laugh can give one a right lift, but it's hardly the be-all-and-end-all, is it, especially if you've got a chest infection. Laughing can cause a nasty coughing bout and that's no fun at all, especially if you've got a headache too.
I haven't had a chest infection for ages now, but I have got plantar fasciitis. That's put paid to my running - I've had to go swimming instead. I'm not keen on swimming 'cos I always get bad guts from swallowing air when breathing. It took me a while to work out the cause, but when I typed it into Google I found it's quite common actually. I'm working on my breathing technique now, but I'd much rather be running. I wrote a song about it. Come and see us when we're doing our stuff and I'll sing it for you. It's very good.
